Assistant Manager – Sales (Medical Imaging & Radiology)

We are seeking a high-caliber Assistant Manager to drive the growth of our medical imaging portfolio, specifically focusing on Ultrasound Scanners and Radiology Equipment . In this role, you will act as a strategic bridge between cutting-edge medical technology and healthcare providers. You will be responsible for navigating the complex procurement cycles of hospitals and private medical centers, building technical credibility with specialized clinicians—including Radiologists, OBGYNs, and Cardiologists —and ensuring that our diagnostic solutions meet the rigorous demands of modern clinical environments.


The Role: Market Penetration & Clinical Consultation

As an Assistant Manager, you will lead the full sales lifecycle, from initial clinical requirement gathering to final equipment commissioning and post-sale relationship management.

  • Strategic Sales Execution: Secure high-value orders for medical imaging systems, ensuring that all regional sales targets and Gross Profit (GP) margins are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Clinical Needs Assessment: Visit hospitals and medical centers to study their specific diagnostic requirements, conducting site surveys to recommend the most suitable imaging configurations.

  • Proposal & Bid Management: Compile technical price quotations and prepare sophisticated proposals that address both clinical efficacy and budgetary constraints.

  • Key Account Management: Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with medical directors, lead clinicians, and hospital business partners.

  • Market Development: Lead promotional activities and product demonstrations targeting key opinion leaders (KOLs) to drive market penetration and brand awareness.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with internal Logistics and Finance departments to manage the supply chain, ensuring on-time delivery, installation, and accurate invoicing.

  • Commercial Governance: Maintain rigorous records of sales activities, debtor collections, and customer satisfaction surveys, following up proactively to ensure account health.


Candidate Profile

We are looking for a technically grounded sales professional who speaks the language of both medicine and business.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or Medical Technology .

    • Added Advantage: Additional certifications in Medical Imaging or Ultrasound Technology .

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience specifically in the sale of Ultrasound Scanners or Radiology Equipment .

  • Clinical Network: Demonstrated experience working directly with Radiologists, OBGYNs, Cardiologists , and hospital procurement teams.

  • Track Record: A documented history of achieving and exceeding sales targets within the high-end healthcare equipment industry.

  • Professional Credentials: Certifications in sales management or business administration will be considered a significant advantage.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate the nuances of the healthcare sector.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel for margin analysis and PowerPoint for clinical presentations).

    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
