Skid Loader / Bobcat Operator | Al Marwan Group

Role Overview Al Marwan Group, a diversified regional leader since 1978, is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Skid Loader / Bobcat Operator to join our heavy machinery team. This role is essential for supporting our construction, maintenance, and material handling operations across various project sites. We are looking for a skilled operator who can maneuver equipment with precision, maintain high safety standards, and contribute to the efficient movement of materials and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation & Site Support

• Precision Maneuvering: Safely and efficiently operate Skid Loaders and Bobcat machines for earthmoving, material loading, and site clearance.

• Logistics Support: Assist in the transport and positioning of materials, equipment, and support personnel across active construction and maintenance zones.

• Operational Versatility: Adapt to various site requirements, ensuring the machine is utilized effectively to meet daily project milestones.

Maintenance & Safety

• Safety Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with UAE safety regulations and Al Marwan’s internal HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.

• Daily Inspections: Conduct routine pre-operational checks on the machinery, including fluid levels, hydraulic systems, and tire integrity, to ensure peak performance.

• Site Awareness: Navigate complex work environments with a high degree of spatial awareness to protect site personnel and existing infrastructure.

Technical Reporting

• Issue Identification: Promptly report any mechanical malfunctions or maintenance requirements to the workshop team to prevent downtime.

• Task Logging: Maintain basic records of machine engine hours and completed tasks as required by the site supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience operating Skid Loaders or Bobcat machines within the UAE construction or industrial sector.

• Licensing: Must possess a Valid UAE Category 8 License (Heavy Tractor).

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of machine capabilities, attachments, and load limits.

  • Familiarity with UAE road and site safety standards.

• Attributes:

  • Highly reliable, punctual, and disciplined in following site instructions.

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and technical problem-solving skills.

• Availability: Candidates must be available to attend a face-to-face technical and operational test at our facility in Sharjah.
