Role Overview Join the dynamic team at Lexus Al Badia, Dubai, as a Cost Clerk. In this high-precision role, you will be a vital link in our aftersales operations, managing departmental job costs in strict alignment with Lexus retail and distributor standards. You will ensure the financial integrity of our workshop operations by meticulously auditing job cards, providing clear feedback to technical departments, and maintaining seamless billing workflows. Key Responsibilities
Workshop Financial Management

Job Costing: Manage and amend computer job cards and invoices to ensure the workshop operates at maximum efficiency.

Flawless Billing: Prepare both internal and external job cards, ensuring 100% accuracy in billing for labor, spare parts, oil, sublets, and consumables.

Invoice Auditing: Double-check all invoices and supporting documentation against computer statements to eliminate discrepancies before final processing.
Reporting & Performance Tracking

Operational Reporting: Organize and distribute daily workshop performance reports to assist the Aftersales Manager in monitoring productivity.

Incentive Computation: Calculate technician incentive computations and prepare claim forms based on daily timesheets and performance data.

Record Keeping: Handle essential clerical functions and maintain up-to-date personnel and administrative records.
Collaboration & Quality Control

Technical Feedback: Identify unacceptable or incomplete job cards and return them to the relevant department with precise, actionable feedback.

Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate daily with Service Advisors, Controllers, Foremen, and Technicians to ensure a smooth flow of information and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a specialized Automotive Diploma.

Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience as a Cost Clerk within a reputable automotive dealership.

Technical Proficiency:
-
Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for reporting).

Familiarity with the SAP Dealer System is highly advantageous.

Exceptional attention to detail and precision in data entry.

Strong office management and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and management teams.

In this role, you will report directly to the Aftersales Manager. You will be an integral part of the Al Badia workshop team, ensuring that the premium Lexus customer experience is backed by back-office operational excellence.
