Head of Subscription | Hertz & MOOV | Financial Services Transformation & Development
Role Overview Hertz is seeking a strategic and operationally-focused Head of Subscription to support the General Manager in overseeing the daily performance of our Hertz and MOOV subscription brands. In this pivotal role, you will ensure seamless service delivery, high customer satisfaction, and sustained business profitability. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to optimize fleet operations, drive financial growth, and maintain strict compliance with industry regulations. The successful candidate will be a balanced leader—capable of mentoring staff while maintaining high service standards and rigorous operational efficiency across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Fleet Management

Efficiency Oversight: Manage monthly subscription operations, ensuring all processes adhere to company policies and lean methodology.

Utilization Optimization: Monitor fleet availability and maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle utilization and revenue.

Process Improvement: Implement strategies to reduce Turnaround Time (TAT) for returned vehicles, ensuring the right fleet is available during peak demand.

Safety & Regulatory: Oversee compliance with safety standards, insurance policies, and local regulatory requirements.
Customer Experience & Retention

Service Excellence: Ensure a premium level of service across all rental locations, fostering a “customer-first” culture.

Resolution Management: Handle complex customer disputes and complaints, ensuring swift resolution to maintain high retention rates.

Quality Monitoring: Track Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and customer feedback to implement continuous service enhancements and brand alignment.
Financial & Business Performance

Revenue Management: Lead financial planning and budgeting initiatives to drive year-over-year revenue growth.

P&L Analysis: Analyze key performance metrics, including operational costs and fleet utilization rates, to identify cost-control opportunities.

Pricing Strategy: Collaborate on the development of competitive pricing models and promotional offers to improve overall profitability.
Team Leadership & Development

Mentorship: Manage and mentor a diverse team of customer service representatives, contract managers, and operational staff.

Talent Management: Assist in hiring, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a high-performance, collaborative work environment.

Productivity Tracking: Monitor employee productivity and subscription processing metrics to ensure optimal staffing during peak periods.
Sales, Marketing & Risk

Growth Initiatives: Support marketing campaigns and identify new business opportunities to drive customer acquisition and booking conversion rates.

Upselling Strategy: Drive additional revenue through strategic upgrades, insurance products, and cross-selling initiatives.

Risk Mitigation: Implement robust fraud prevention and damage control policies, ensuring all rental agreements comply with legal regulations and internal audit standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: University graduate (Bachelor’s degree or higher).

Experience: 5+ years in the customer service industry, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the car rental or mobility sector.

Language: Professional fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.

Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in managing digital tracking systems and business applications.
