Business Development Manager | Healthcare & Medical Supplies
Role Overview Our client is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead the strategic growth of their diverse healthcare portfolio, including medical devices, laboratory equipment, surgical consumables, and pharmaceuticals. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for identifying high-potential market opportunities, executing sophisticated sales strategies, and cultivating long-term partnerships with global principals. You will act as a commercial architect, balancing market research with hands-on business expansion to drive the company’s presence across the healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans for medical products, laboratory items, surgical consumables, and pharmaceuticals.

Sales Execution: Implement corporate sales programs and go-to-market strategies to achieve aggressive business growth targets.

Category Innovation: Formulate specific category targets based on emerging market trends, competitive potential, and the introduction of new product innovations.

Market Intelligence: Conduct rigorous market research to identify evolving customer needs, clinical trends, and untapped regional opportunities.
Partnership & Relationship Management

Principal Liaison: Maintain professional and effective communication with global principals and manufacturing partners to align on partnership strategies and operational goals.

Account Management: Effectively manage and expand the customer database, ensuring high levels of engagement and service satisfaction.

Strategic Networking: Strengthen existing partnerships while identifying new alliances to support sustained business expansion.
Analytics & Operations

Performance Tracking: Utilize data analysis to monitor sales performance against set targets and market benchmarks.

Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on market activities, competitor movements, and revenue forecasts for senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Marketing, Biology, Biotechnology, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Experience: * Minimum of 2 years of professional experience for Degree holders.

Alternatively, 5 years of proven experience within the Healthcare or Manufacturing industry.

Technical Skills: * High level of IT literacy and proficiency in data analysis.

Ability to translate complex market data into actionable business plans.
