Role Overview


Our client, a highly respected and well-established conglomerate in Sri Lanka with a diverse portfolio in manufacturing, trading, and distribution, is seeking a strategic Manager – Talent Acquisition. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across multiple business sectors. Your focus will be on shifting from traditional hiring to a proactive, data-driven talent strategy—attracting high-caliber professionals and elevating the organization’s employer brand in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Talent Identification

  • Data-Driven Planning: Develop and implement sophisticated recruitment plans that align with the conglomerate’s diverse business objectives and long-term growth.

  • Advanced Sourcing: Lead high-level headhunting, networking, and executive search initiatives using LinkedIn Recruiter and other modern digital platforms to attract top-tier talent.

  • Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the entire recruitment process—from initial sourcing and rigorous screening to final selection and seamless onboarding.

Employer Branding & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Brand Advocacy: Build and strengthen employer branding initiatives to position the organization as a “Preferred Employer” across the manufacturing, trading, and distribution sectors.

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with department heads and hiring managers to provide consultative guidance on workforce planning and specialized talent needs.

  • Experience Management: Ensure a premium candidate experience that reflects the organization’s commitment to quality and professional excellence.

Performance Analytics & Optimization

  • Recruitment Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire to continuously optimize the recruitment engine.

  • Systems Management: Oversee the utilization of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data integrity and streamlined communication.

  • Process Innovation: Identify and implement best practices to enhance hiring effectiveness and adapt to shifting market trends.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institute.

  • Experience: * Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in recruitment.

    • At least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.

    • Experience within a multi-industry conglomerate or the hospitality sector is considered a significant advantage.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Expert-level hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern ATS platforms.

    • Strong analytical skills to interpret recruitment data and trends.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

    • Agility: Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority recruitment projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strategic Thinking: Capability to translate business requirements into effective talent acquisition strategies.
