Website Hilton Hotel
Development Manager, Branded Residential – EMEA
Position Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director of Development Residential (EMEA), you will be a key player in executing Hilton’s growth strategy for luxury and branded residential business models. You will act as the central hub for market intelligence, creating the high-impact commercial presentations and reports used by senior leadership to sign new deals. This is a proactive, autonomous role that bridges the gap between raw data and compelling investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
-
Deal Support & Analysis: Facilitate the deal-signing process by assessing new opportunities, conducting market research, and drafting commercial offers and deal summaries for internal approval.
-
Commercial Collateral: Lead the creation of tactical sales material, development websites, and high-level presentations (accounting for 30% of your time) to pitch Hilton’s brands to developers and investors.
-
Market Intelligence: Proactively gather and maintain up-to-date data on the hospitality and residential real estate landscape to support the EMEA Luxury development team.
-
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate across internal functions—Legal, Feasibility, Finance, and Brands—to remove bottlenecks and ensure project completion.
-
Reporting & Systems: Own the deal reporting system, maintaining data integrity and generating dashboards for leadership to track regional growth.
-
Industry Presence: Manage Hilton’s visibility at major conferences and investment events across EMEA, including organization and on-site representation.
Requirements (The Person)
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, Finance, or a related field.
-
Experience: A background in hospitality development, feasibility, or asset management. Prior experience with a hotel operator or consulting firm is highly preferred.
-
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory. You must be able to present complex financial or market data in a clear, executive-friendly format.
-
Soft Skills: You are a self-starter who anticipates business needs rather than reacting to them. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for engaging with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
-
Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other EMEA languages is a significant advantage.
-
Innovation: A forward-thinking approach, with a preference for candidates who can apply AI tools to enhance reporting and analytical efficiency.
Strategic Insights for Your Application
-
The “Branded Residential” Context: Unlike standard hotels, residential deals involve complex legal structures and homeowner associations. If you have experience with mixed-use developments or luxury real estate, highlight this.
-
Showcase Your “Pitch” Skills: Since 30% of the job is creating collateral, your CV and cover letter should be visually clean and professionally written. They are looking for someone who can “sell” a vision to an investor.
-
AI & Data Efficiency: This is a rare JD that explicitly mentions AI tools. Mention how you use tools (like ChatGPT for drafting, AI-driven data scrapers, or advanced PowerBI) to speed up research and reporting.
-
The Middle East Focus: Given the “Arabic preferred” note and the current boom in KSA (Saudi Arabia) and the UAE, any knowledge of the GCC real estate market will be a massive “green flag” for the hiring team.
