Role Overview
In the Product Development and Design (PDD) team at Qatar Airways, we don’t just design products; we engineer experiences. As a Senior Visual Communications & Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between complex data and strategic influence. Your mission is to transform raw market insights, product strategies, and abstract business cases into high-impact visual narratives that drive executive decision-making. This role requires a unique hybrid of a strategic analyst’s brain and a designer’s eye—translating the “why” and “how” of our innovation roadmap into compelling, board-ready stories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Visual Storytelling & Executive Design

High-Impact Presentations: Design and anchor presentations for executive leadership updates, strategic reviews, and global product roadmap discussions.

Abstract Translation: Convert customer insights and abstract product concepts into visually structured slides that guide audience attention and inspire action.

Brand Integrity: Ensure absolute consistency in visual language, typography, and brand alignment across all strategic materials.

Custom Assets: Create bespoke iconography, diagrams, and data visualizations that simplify complex information and highlight strategic value.
2. Business Analysis & Strategic Messaging

Narrative Construction: Partner with Research, Insights, and Strategy teams to synthesize notes, sketches, and market data into cohesive, persuasive business narratives.

Strategic Summaries: Build visually compelling summaries for business cases, ROI models, and financial analyses, making technical data accessible to non-technical senior stakeholders.

Insight Visualization: Breakdown global market trends and benchmarking results into executive-level visuals that illustrate design decisions and business rationales.
3. Cross-Functional Synergy & Excellence

Operational Alignment: Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Operations to gather inputs and ensure messaging is aligned across the project lifecycle.

Project Management: Simultaneously manage multiple high-priority design projects under tight deadlines without compromising on visual polish.

Standard Setting: Support the department in elevating communication workflows and establishing new benchmarks for storytelling excellence within the Qatar Airways Group.
About You: Skills & Qualifications

Experience: * 5+ years of professional experience in presentation design, business communications, or data-driven content design.

A proven track record (and portfolio) of creating executive-level visual content for senior leadership.

Technical Mastery: * Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.

Advantageous: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel dashboards.

Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to comprehend complex business challenges and research insights, distilling them into clear “takeaways.”

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Design, Business, or a related field.

Communication: Flawless verbal and written English, with the ability to translate technical topics for a non-expert executive audience.
