Associate Quality Analyst

Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Associate Quality Analyst to serve as the guardian of our product integrity. In this role, you will define quality baselines, verify end-user functionality, and ensure that every feature developed aligns perfectly with planned user stories. Operating within an Agile/SCRUM framework, you will bridge the gap between design concepts and final delivery, utilizing your analytical expertise to identify pitfalls and recommend superior technical solutions. This is a high-impact position that requires a mix of cross-functional testing expertise and a deep understanding of the airline services or B2B/B2C IT solutions landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Execution

  • Baseline Definition: Define the quality benchmarks for products and services, ensuring they function according to agreed-upon architectural designs and user requirements.

  • Test Lifecycle Management: Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases, and schedules.

  • Scenario Development: Translate complex system requirements and user stories into diverse testing scenarios to ensure the credibility and reliability of the final product.

  • Defect Management: Track, document, and release testing results using JIRA, ensuring transparent communication of bugs and fixes across the development team.

Agile Collaboration & Support

  • Sprint Integration: Support the development team during sprint planning by providing detailed testing data to influence final artwork or trigger alternative technical solutions.

  • Agile Advocacy: Fully adopt and implement SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies to maintain organizational flexibility and rapid adaptability to business needs.

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Participate in high-level technical discussions and open debates to source best practices, improve workflows, and refine existing design systems.

Specialized Testing & Optimization

  • Multi-Platform Testing: Conduct hands-on testing across diverse interfaces, including Desktop, Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs.

  • Performance Engineering: Execute Regression, Load, and Performance testing to ensure system stability under various conditions.

  • Data-Driven Frameworks: Maintain large-scale test data frameworks to support future test automation and optimize test case coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Certifications: * Preferred: SCRUM Master or Professional Certified Product Owner (PSPO).

    • Advantageous: Formal Quality Assurance (QA) certifications.

  • Experience: * 2+ years as a Quality Analyst in an enterprise environment (B2B/B2C).

    • Specific experience in Airline products/IT services (e.g., PSS, Ground Handling, Crew Management) or IT solution firms.

    • Proven track record with both internally and externally hosted technology platforms.

Technical Competencies

  • Software Development: Solid understanding of the SDLC and software development fundamentals.

  • Data & Database: Hands-on experience with SQL queries and database management.

  • Tools: Proficiency in collaboration and defect management tools like JIRA and Slack.

  • UI/UX: A strong grasp of user interface and user experience design principles.

  • Analytical Synthesis: Ability to process large volumes of data into actionable information and identify critical gaps in product design.
