Role Overview 

As the Assistant Vice President (AVP), Marketing Business Partner, you will act as a strategic bridge between the Marketing function and First Abu Dhabi Bank’s (FAB) most high-profile business segments: Private Banking (PB), Business Banking (BB), Wealth Management, and International Banking. Your mission is to ensure that these units benefit from high-impact, integrated marketing and communication strategies that reinforce FAB’s status as a global financial leader. This Emiratised role is central to driving FAB’s brand identity across diverse international markets and premium customer segments.

Key Accountabilities

1. Strategic Marketing & Planning

• Brand Positioning: Support the definition of specific brand positioning and bespoke communication plans for international and wealth-focused business units.

• Integrated Strategy: Align marketing initiatives with the Group’s strategic priorities, ensuring business units participate effectively in major Group-level campaigns and partnerships.

• Innovation: Stay at the forefront of marketing technology and trends to ensure FAB maintains a competitive edge in branding and digital engagement.

2. Operational Execution & Content Creation

• Collateral Development: Create compelling marketing content and high-end sales tools that empower business units to sell products and services to high-net-worth and corporate clients.

• Event Management: In collaboration with the Events team, help design and execute memorable, effective events tailored to premium customers and global stakeholders.

• Omnichannel Coordination: Work with social media and digital teams to develop online content that drives engagement within the global social media community.

3. Communication & PR Management

• Media Relations: Foster relationships with influential media outlets and coordinate the creation and distribution of strategic press content.

• Consistency: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring absolute brand consistency and visual identity across every touchpoint, from international branches to digital apps.

• Agency Oversight: Manage relationships with retained marketing and PR agencies to ensure high-quality, cost-effective execution.

4. Analytics, Budget & Performance

• Measurement: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of brand activities, benchmarking performance against key global and regional competitors.

• Audience Segmentation: Conduct deep-dive analyses on audience segments across various channels to ensure messaging reaches the right individuals at the optimal time.

• Budget Stewardship: Help manage the specific business unit budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to drive the highest ROI.

About You: Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, specifically within financial institutions or a global marketing agency.

  • Proven track record in managing marketing projects from initial concept to full-scale execution.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Solid expertise in market analysis, segmentation, and consumer insights.

  • Proficient in using digital marketing platforms and campaign analysis tools.

  • Highly creative with a talent for developing compelling, high-level messaging.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

• Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to align marketing with commercial business goals.

  • Strong collaborative skills to work across internal Creative, Digital, and Sales teams.
