Service Line: Data & Analytics Unit

Role Overview

As an integral member of the Infosys delivery team, you will act as a bridge between complex data landscapes and strategic business insights. Your mission is to help our clients “navigate their next” by designing and implementing world-class Business Intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end reporting lifecycle—from requirement gathering and architectural validation to the delivery of high-impact visualizations that drive digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Solution Delivery

Technical Interface: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of service, quality assurance, and prompt issue resolution.
Architecture & Design: Understand complex business requirements to create, review, and validate robust BI architectures and technical designs.
Project Governance: Participate in project estimation, technical risk planning, and solution delivery frameworks to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.

2. Technical Leadership & Quality

Mentorship: Lead and guide development teams to produce optimized, high-quality code and reporting deliverables.
Review Mechanisms: Conduct rigorous code reviews and unit test plan evaluations to maintain superior delivery standards.
Knowledge Management: Promote a culture of continuous learning and ensure strict adherence to organizational processes and quality guidelines.

3. Operational Excellence

Project Lifecycle: Manage activities across both development and maintenance projects, utilizing Agile methodologies and various estimation techniques.
Quality Assurance: Apply SOLID design principles and software modeling methods to build scalable and efficient analytical systems.

Technical & Professional Requirements

Core BI & Visualization Tools:

Reporting: MicroStrategy (including SDK)
Visualization: Tableau, Power BI (Power Platform)
Data Discovery: QlikSense, QlikView

Database & Backend:

Data Querying: Advanced SQL (SQL Server – Analytics)
Architecture: Strong understanding of Data Virtualization and ETL fundamentals.

About You: Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven expertise in the Data & Analytics domain with a focus on Business Intelligence and reporting.
Technical Breadth: Knowledge of more than one technology stack and familiarity with the latest industry trends and cloud platforms.
Analytical Prowess: Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, M.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc in a related field.
