Role Overview 

Air Arabia is seeking a strategic and operationally-focused Cabin Crew Manager to lead our Sharjah-based (G9) crew operations. In this high-visibility role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of cabin crew performance, ensuring the highest benchmarks of safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence are met. You will bridge the gap between corporate strategy and frontline execution, managing everything from crew readiness and fatigue monitoring to service delivery and disciplinary frameworks. This is a critical leadership position for an aviation professional who excels in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and is passionate about upholding the Air Arabia brand promise.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Regulatory Compliance

  • Daily Operations Oversight: Manage G9 cabin crew operations to ensure maximum safety, punctuality, and full adherence to GCAA regulations.

  • Manuals & Standards: Coordinate with Quality and Safety departments to maintain and update Cabin Crew Operations Manuals, ensuring all regulatory updates are seamlessly integrated into procedures.

  • Audit Readiness: Oversee meticulous documentation and record-keeping for internal reviews and external compliance audits.

  • Deployment Coordination: Partner closely with the Operations Control Center (OCC) on crew deployment, scheduling, and effective recovery actions during disruptions.

Performance Management & Analytics

  • KPI Implementation: Execute the cabin crew performance management framework, monitoring benchmarks such as punctuality, attendance, and productivity.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze performance indicators and customer feedback to identify root causes of service gaps and implement corrective actions.

  • Mentorship & Feedback: Maintain a regular cadence of one-to-one feedback sessions, recognizing high performers and implementing interventions for under-performance or attendance issues.

  • Reporting: Present comprehensive performance reports to senior management, providing actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

Service Delivery & Brand Alignment

  • Service Standards: Ensure consistent implementation of Air Arabia’s grooming, service, and onboard professionalism standards across the fleet.

  • CX Collaboration: Lead service excellence initiatives in partnership with the Customer Experience team to elevate the onboard environment in line with the brand promise.

  • Standardization: Collaborate with other hubs to align best practices and ensure a unified guest experience regardless of the route.

Leadership & Crew Welfare

  • Team Development: Lead and develop Duty Coordinators and Crew Supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

  • Welfare & Engagement: Drive crew engagement and recognition initiatives to boost morale and productivity while balancing operational requirements.

  • Resource Planning: Manage leave approvals and manpower requirements to ensure continuous operational readiness without compromising crew legality or fatigue limits.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management is preferred.

  • Certification: A valid or previous Cabin Crew license/certification is considered a distinct advantage.

  • Experience: * Minimum of 10 years in cabin crew operations management, including experience leading diverse, multicultural teams.

    • Significant background as a Supervisor or Senior Purser with a track record in performance management.

    • Proven ability to manage a 24/7 operation in a high-pressure airline environment.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong understanding of rostering, crew legality, and fatigue management principles.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for sophisticated data interpretation and reporting.

    • Familiarity with HR and disciplinary processes within an aviation context.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Decision-Making: Rapid, sound judgment during operational disruptions.

    • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

    • Analytical Rigor: Ability to translate complex performance data into actionable operational improvements.
