Civil Supervisor – Fit-Out | Al Marwan Group

Role Overview Al Marwan Gro up, a diversified regional leader since 1978, is seeking a high-caliber Civil Supervisor – Fit-Out to lead our interior and civil operations. In this critical on-site role, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of fit-out projects across our residential and commercial portfolios. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can bridge the gap between technical drawings and physical execution, ensuring that all masonry, carpentry, and finishing works meet our uncompromising standards for quality, safety, and architectural intent.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership & Supervision

• Team Management: Directly lead and mentor multi-disciplinary Civil & Fit-Out teams, including foremen, masons, carpenters, painters, and site laborers.

• Subcontractor Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and specialist suppliers to ensure site operations align with project timelines.

• Operational Discipline: Monitor and optimize the allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to maintain high levels of site productivity.

Technical Execution & Quality

• Drawing Review: Review and provide technical comments on architectural and fit-out drawings during the execution phase to preempt installation conflicts.

• Progress Tracking: Create detailed daily and weekly work schedules, track real-time progress, and provide comprehensive reports to the Line Manager.

• Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving on-site technical issues and coordinating with project engineers for architectural clarifications.

HSE & Compliance

• Safety Advocacy: Enforce strict HSE protocols and conduct regular Toolbox Talks (TBTs) to foster a culture of safety excellence among all site personnel.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all civil and interior finishes strictly comply with UAE building codes, quality standards, and client specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a recognized Civil Diploma.

• Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated civil and fit-out experience specifically within the UAE market.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing interpretation.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CAFM systems or related project management software.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills to manage diverse site teams and external stakeholders.

• Mobility: A valid UAE Driving License is highly preferred to support movement across various project locations.
