The Opportunity

As a Sales Coordinator for Local Shops, you will be the bridge between physical inventory and the digital marketplace. Your primary focus is Catalogue Management: ensuring product listings are accurate, high-quality, and error-free. You will play a vital role in supply chain health by investigating discrepancies and suggesting process improvements to ensure customers always find what they need on the talabat app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Catalogue Ownership: Propose and populate content for product catalogues, ensuring all items are correctly represented on the app.

  • Quality Control: Identify and correct catalogue errors; investigate and resolve customer or vendor complaints related to product listings.

  • Supply Chain Support: Resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain to improve overall inventory health and availability.

  • Operational Reporting: Create detailed reports on work volumes and performance metrics to track departmental success.

  • Process Improvement: Dive deep into current workflows to identify constraints, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and recommend innovative solutions.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the first point of contact for process updates, flagging issues to Lead/Manager and participating in cross-functional meetings.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in business operations or a similar innovative environment is an advantage.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic (Written/Spoken) and Upper Intermediate English proficiency.

  • Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of MS Office, with a specific advantage if you are proficient in MS Excel.

  • Research Skills: Strong ability to navigate the internet and perform rapid research on large datasets.

  • Mindset: A multitasker who remains composed in critical situations and can operate digital systems with high speed and accuracy.
