Customer Service Advisor (UAE National) | Bupa Global

Role Overview Bupa Global, the international health insurance arm of Bupa, is seeking a dedicated and customer-centric Customer Service Advisor to join our telephone-based servicing team in Dubai. In this role, you will act as a vital link between our premium international health insurance products and our global members. Operating in a hybrid environment with a focus on work-life balance, you will provide high-quality support to members, brokers, and service partners, ensuring every interaction helps our customers live longer, healthier, and happier lives.


Key Responsibilities

Member Support & Policy Administration

  • Enquiry Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for members, handling inquiries regarding policy coverage, billing, and membership changes with professional care.

  • Documentation: Manage the reissuing and tracking of member documents, ensuring all correspondence is accurate and follows appropriate investigation and policy guidelines.

  • Account Maintenance: Update and maintain precise system records, including member contact details, to ensure data integrity across all platforms.

Financial & Billing Operations

  • Transaction Handling: Process manual credit card collections, issue payment receipts for individual and group payments, and raise manual credit notes or invoices as required.

  • Billing Resolution: Address and resolve complex billing inquiries from members and providers efficiently.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Provider Liaison: Respond to queries from brokers and other medical providers to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Cross-Departmental Support: Assist internal departments in navigating cultural and language barriers to enhance the member experience.

  • Medical Coordination: Partner with service providers to facilitate and set up medical treatments for members globally.

Quality & Compliance

  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and handle member complaints with a focus on achieving successful outcomes and maintaining brand loyalty.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all actions comply with UAE Health Insurance regulations and internal Bupa procedures.


What You’ll Need (Essential Criteria)

  • Nationality: Must be a UAE National with a valid Family Book available for verification.

  • Education: Must hold a University Degree (certificate required).

  • Industry Experience: * Essential experience within the UAE Health Insurance sector.

    • Previous training or experience within a medical environment.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of UAE Health Insurance regulations.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills; strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.

  • Service Excellence: A proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service within an insurance or regulated setting.


Work Schedule & Location

  • Time Type: Full-Time, Permanent (30 hours per week).

  • Shift Pattern: 6-hour shifts between 08:00 – 17:00, including occasional weekends and public holidays.

  • Work Mode: Hybrid (Office-based once per week in Dubai – OIC).
