We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Thai Cuisine to join our team in Colombo . The Role: What You Will Do

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you are responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food across all kitchen areas according to precise recipes and plating guides.

  • Culinary Execution: Efficiently prepare food for guests and team members, ensuring all dishes are produced hygienically and economically.

  • Operational Leadership: Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in supervising daily kitchen operations and ensuring prompt service during peak hours.

  • Specialized Focus: Implement high-quality food set-ups and contribute to menu development, with a specific focus on maintaining the standards of Thai cuisine.

  • Safety & Hygiene: Uphold strict HACCP and FSMS (Food Safety Management System) standards to ensure a clean, safe, and professional working environment.

  • Resource Management: Monitor ingredient usage for a la carte and seasonal menus to ensure portion control and cost efficiency while minimizing waste.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Stewarding department and mentor junior team members to foster a positive, high-performance culture.


Your Profile

We are looking for a disciplined culinary professional with a passion for Thai flavors and a track record of excellence in a 5-star environment.

  • Experience: * At least 3 years of experience in a 5-star hotel or high-standard restaurant.

    • A minimum of 1 year as a Commis I within an international hotel brand.

  • Education: High school graduate; Technical education from a hospitality or culinary school is highly preferred.

  • Communication: Good command of both verbal and written English to meet international business needs.

  • Certifications: Valid health certificate and up-to-date sanitation class credits.

  • Soft Skills: A professional, positive attitude, strong teamwork abilities, and the flexibility to handle off-site events or changing kitchen demands.
