Digital Transformation Trainee (Part-Time) | Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies | Emirati Talent

Role Overview Al-Futtaim Technologies is seeking a high-potential Digital Transformation Trainee to join our Emirati Talent program in a part-time capacity. This role is designed for an aspiring tech leader ready to dive into the project lifecycle of cutting-edge smart solutions. You will provide critical coordination support, bridging the gap between sales, finance, and delivery teams to ensure our digital initiatives—ranging from Document Management (M-Files) to CRM and HR Tech—are executed with precision. This is a unique opportunity to develop professional project management expertise while contributing to the digital evolution of a regional powerhouse.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery Support

Lifecycle Support: Collaborate with AFT delivery teams on high-impact projects including M-Files, CRM, SEMOS HR, and various smart city solutions.
Requirements Gathering: Assist the M-Files and SEMOS Cloud teams during client workshops to capture technical requirements and business needs.
Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks or risks, and propose proactive solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
Tender Assistance: Support Proposal and Tender Submissions by compiling technical responses for RFPs, aimed at reducing overall response times for our clients.

Operational & Financial Management

Financial Workflow: Coordinate with AFET Finance to ensure timely vendor payments and handle internal invoicing via the Ariba platform.
Resource Tracking: Generate accurate cost sheets and issue purchase orders (POs) to vendors promptly to maintain project momentum.
Reporting: Create comprehensive status reports and presentations detailing project health, financial forecasts, and resource consumption.
System Auditing: Enhance M-Files workflows and conduct monthly audits to identify and resolve operational challenges.

Digital Proficiency & Technical Growth

Product Expertise: Rapidly gain mastery over the SEMOS Cloud product suite and Monday.com CRM to support internal project management.
Solution Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of AFT’s core offerings in Document Management Systems (DMS) and Data Analytics to better advise stakeholders.

Professional Development (iGrow)

Targeted Training: Complete mandatory quarterly training sessions and utilize internal tools like Ariba and CRM for self-improvement.
Industry Engagement: Attend at least three professional conferences, exhibitions, or networking events annually to stay current on modern methodologies and digital trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Eligibility: Must be a UAE National (Emirati Talent program).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Technical Foundation: * Foundational understanding of Document Management Systems (DMS), Data Analytics, and CRM tools.
- Proficiency in project management principles; professional certification is a significant plus.
