Role Overview

As an ETL/BI Test Lead, you will be a cornerstone of our digital transformation delivery, ensuring the structural integrity and data accuracy of complex analytical systems. You are responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting high-performance data models and simulations that meet rigorous client specifications. This role demands a proactive approach to quality assurance, utilizing virtual environments and stress-testing protocols to deliver “First Time Right” solutions within the AWS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Engineering

Technical Development: Design and develop ETL/BI solutions and prototypes based on client specifications and engineering drawings.
Simulation & Stress Testing: Utilize software tools to run simulations and impact analyses, checking all boundary conditions—including stress and failure mode effects (FMEA)—to ensure system resilience.
System Integration: Determine operational feasibility by integrating diverse software components into a fully functional, cost-effective system.
Optimization: Identify opportunities for system enhancement, implementing updates that provide optimized, high-throughput solutions for the client.

2. Quality Assurance & Customer Support

Verification Planning: Develop comprehensive software verification plans and quality assurance procedures tailored to the customer’s data environment.
Defect Management: Troubleshooting and debugging existing systems with minimum latency, ensuring 100% compliance with bi-directional traceability matrices.
Deployment & Feedback: Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback to ensure maximum customer satisfaction (CSAT) and professional resolution of all tickets.
Standard Compliance: Adhere to industry standard operating procedures and project plans to ensure 100% error-free onboarding and implementation.

3. Reporting & Knowledge Management

Data Documentation: Maintain a centralized repository of all design changes, recommendations, and technical specifications.
Performance Reporting: Generate 100% on-time weekly and monthly status reports and MIS as per client requirements.
Knowledge Transfer: Provide written knowledge transfer and project histories to ensure seamless continuity and internal skill upgradation.

Performance Measures (Deliverables)

Design Excellence: 100% error-free implementation and high throughput percentages.
Quality & CSAT: On-time delivery with zero major defects post-production and a “First Time Right” approach.
Traceability: 100% adherence to the bi-directional traceability matrix.
Documentation: Timely generation of all MIS and reporting artifacts.

About You: Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 5–8 years in ETL/BI testing, data modeling, or software engineering.
Cloud Mastery: Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based data workflows.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in failure effect mode analysis (FMEA) and stress testing within virtual environments.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for client interfacing, troubleshooting, and delivering technical knowledge transfers.
Tools: Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools for model development and advanced debugging software.
