Project Engineer – Facility Maintenance Group

We are seeking a dedicated and technically minded Project Engineer to join our Facility Maintenance Group. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the structural integrity, functional efficiency, and long-term sustainability of our built environment. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a high-potential graduate, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of facility upkeep, structural repairs, and specialized maintenance projects that keep our operations running smoothly.

The Role: Engineering Oversight & Facility Integrity

As a Project Engineer within the Facility Maintenance Group, you will transition between site-level inspections and project planning to maintain a world-class facility.

• Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil-related maintenance projects, including structural retrofitting, waterproofing, and interior renovations.

• Site Inspection: Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify structural wear, safety hazards, or areas requiring immediate engineering intervention.

• Contractor Management: Oversee external contractors and technical teams, ensuring that all maintenance work meets project specifications and quality standards.

• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of facility blueprints, structural assessments, and maintenance logs for compliance and future planning.

• Resource Optimization: Help manage project budgets and materials, ensuring that facility repairs are completed cost-effectively without compromising on safety.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to local building codes, occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, and environmental standards.

Your Profile

This position is open to both licensed practitioners and recent graduates who are eager to build a career in professional facility management and civil engineering.

• Education: A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE).

• Professional Credentials: Open to both Licensed and Non-licensed Civil Engineering graduates.

• Experience: * With Experience: Candidates with a background in site engineering, construction, or facility maintenance are encouraged to apply.

  • Without Experience: Fresh graduates with a strong academic foundation and a willingness to undergo intensive on-the-job training are welcome.

• Technical Skills:

  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

  • Strong understanding of structural materials, concrete technology, and building systems.

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving agility.

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple maintenance timelines.

  • Effective communication for coordinating with diverse technical teams and stakeholders.
