Role Overview Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and proactive Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Sharjah. In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across the company’s offices, accommodation facilities, and common areas. As the face of our facilities’ upkeep, you will ensure a healthy and welcoming environment for employees, guests, and customers alike. Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Hygiene Excellence

• Standardized Upkeep: Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks—including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting—across offices, restrooms, pantries, and common areas.

• Facility Maintenance: Ensure that ceiling vents are clean, waste baskets are emptied promptly, and all surrounding areas remain free of litter and debris.

• Supply Management: Maintain and replenish essential stocks in pantries and restrooms to ensure continuous availability for staff and guests.

• Kitchen & Pantry Care: Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition at all times.

• Specialized Tasks: Execute heavy cleaning duties and special assignments as directed by the facilities management team.

Operational Support & Safety

• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene policies, procedures, and government regulations.

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and tools, ensuring the team has the necessary resources for daily operations.

• Logistics Assistance: Assist in the loading and offloading of trucks delivering food items, supplies, or equipment.

• Quality Audits: Conduct regular inspections of offices and designated areas to verify that cleanliness meets Air Arabia’s prescribed quality standards.

• Teamwork: Support the orientation of new employees by providing guidance on daily tasks and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or an equivalent qualification is acceptable.

• Communication: Fair proficiency in both written and spoken English is required to understand assignments and interact with a multicultural team.

• Core Competencies:

  • Attitude: A pleasant, professional, and positive personality with a strong sense of courtesy.

  • Organization: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks logically.

  • Physical Fitness: Must be energetic and physically capable of handling a role that requires frequent movement and active labor.

Experience & Preferences

• Experience: Prior experience is not mandatory for candidates who demonstrate the right competencies and work ethic.

• Advantage: 1–2 years of similar experience in the hospitality or service industry is considered an asset.

• Age Preference: Candidates up to 30 years of age are preferred for this physically active role.
