Role Overview

SAP is seeking a high-energy, analytical Intern for Strategic Sales Programs within the Chief Revenue Office for Business Transformation Management (BTM). This is a rare opportunity for a student to gain global exposure at the heart of SAP’s sales strategy. You will help design and implement initiatives that enable our sales teams to articulate the value of BTM, accelerate pipeline growth, and standardize winning playbooks. What You’ll Build

Sales Strategy & Program Management

  • Strategic Initiatives: Design and manage targeted sales programs aligned with priority go-to-market areas to drive global adoption.

  • Enablement Frameworks: Build scalable models that help sales teams identify new opportunities and move them through the pipeline more effectively.

  • Regional Alignment: Ensure all sales programs are tailored to meet specific regional market dynamics and priorities.

Content & Messaging Optimization

  • Standardized Playbooks: Create and refine sales motion playbooks, guidelines, and best-practice documents to ensure execution excellence across geographies.

  • Value Articulation: Collaborate with Marketing and Product & Engineering to sharpen BTM messaging, tailored value propositions, and structured pitches.

  • Sales Assets: Support the development of solution demonstrations and high-impact presentation materials.

Performance Analytics & Operations

  • KPI Operationalization: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of global sales programs.

  • Actionable Insights: Translate program data into recommendations that optimize sales strategies and identify operational gaps.

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement scalable enhancements to existing programs to deliver measurable business outcomes.


What You Bring

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field.

  • Background: Prior experience or a strong interest in Sales Strategy, Business Development, or the B2B enterprise software ecosystem.

  • Skills:

    • Strong project management and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on stakeholder management.

    • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

  • Mindset: Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and energized by working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
