Role Overview
talabat is seeking a sharp, commercially-minded Manager, Business Insights to spearhead the analytics and intelligence function within our Partner Growth organization. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role designed to scale our selection, affordability, and monetization strategies. You will act as the primary architect of our insight engines, collaborating with senior stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Data to define KPI frameworks and drive vendor health diagnostics. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Roadmap & Automation

Function Scaling: Lead the Business Insights function across acquisition, retention, growth, and monetization, focusing on the digital enablement of our vendors.

Intelligence Roadmap: Define the commercial intelligence strategy—from performance benchmarking to sophisticated campaign tracking and vendor health diagnostics.

Self-Serve Analytics: Champion automation initiatives to reduce manual reporting, empowering teams with self-serve tools and accelerating the “time to insight.”
Business Performance Reporting

Data Synthesis: Deep-dive into performance metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for systemic improvement.

Executive Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive reports for senior management, translating complex data into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.

Market Analysis: Perform country-specific deep dives to identify turnaround opportunities and localized growth areas.
Analytical Deep Dives & Strategy

Economic Analysis: Drive rigorous analyses on vendor economics, incrementality, discount ROI, and pricing strategies to unlock new growth levers.

Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate across departments to resolve complex issues impacting overall business performance and vendor growth.

Strategy Formulation: Develop and recommend evidence-based strategies to achieve long-term business objectives and operational excellence.
What You Need to Be Successful

Experience: 4–7 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategy consulting.

At least 3+ years leading teams or high-stakes projects in a cross-functional setting.

Technical Mastery:

Deep expertise in SQL and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

Mastery of the full data lifecycle: problem formulation, data auditing, rigorous analysis, and presentation.

Comfort building complex models and analytical tools from scratch.

Analytical Scope: Familiarity with descriptive, exploratory, inferential, causal, and predictive analysis methodologies.

Leadership: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively within a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

AI Innovation: Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (AI agents, autonomous workflows) and AI-driven automation is a strong plus.

Industry Background: Experience in food delivery, e-commerce, or high-volume marketplaces (B2B2C).

Commercial Expertise: Background in vendor growth, partner incentive structures, or commercial performance optimization.
