Role Overview 

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a high-caliber Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Immunology team in Dubai. In this pivotal scientific role, you will act as a trusted peer-to-peer counterpart to Leading Specialists, including Physicians, Pharmacists, and Hospital Board Members. Your mission is to maximize the value of our transformational immunology portfolio through high-quality scientific exchange, medical education, and data communication. You will bridge the gap between complex clinical research and real-world patient care, ensuring that healthcare providers are equipped with the latest insights to restore health to millions living with immune diseases.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific Exchange & Thought Leadership

• Peer-to-Peer Engagement: Build and maintain a robust network of Leading Specialists, understanding their clinical needs, treatment patterns, and scientific interests.

• Knowledge Expert: Serve as the therapeutic area authority, staying abreast of medical trends, clinical study results, and innovative treatment paradigms in Immunology.

• Data Communication: Proactively communicate scientific information on approved products and respond to unsolicited queries regarding pipeline indications, ensuring all interactions are non-promotional and evidence-based.

Strategic Medical Affairs

• Medical Education: Identify and support speakers to build high-impact medical education programs with scientific third parties.

• Advisory Boards: Organize and participate in Advisory Boards in collaboration with the Medical Lead to gather insights that shape the company’s Medical Affairs Plan.

• Cross-Functional Support: Provide technical credibility and product training to Sales Representatives, acting as a scientific reference point for the field team.

Clinical Study & Research Support

• Study Execution: Support the setup and follow-up of registries and non-interventional studies.

• Investigator Relations: Identify potential investigators and sites for clinical trials and manage Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) proposals for departmental review.

• Insight Generation: Capture and translate field insights into actionable business strategies to foster innovative approaches to patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Must be a qualified Pharmacist or Physician.

• Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an MSL in a mid-to-large pharmaceutical organization is preferred.

  • Prior experience within the Immunology therapeutic area is a significant advantage.

• Core Competencies:

  • Technical Credibility: Ability to engage with top-tier medical experts on a high scientific level.

  • Communication: Exceptional skills in medical communications and stakeholder engagement.

  • Analytical Reasoning: Capable of interpreting complex clinical data and reporting insights effectively.

  • Digital Literacy: Technologically savvy with experience using analytics dashboards and digital tools.
