Mixer / Heavy Vehicle Driver | Al Marwan Group

Role Overview Al Marwan Group, a diversified regional leader since 1978, is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Drivers to join our logistics and construction fleet. We are looking for versatile professionals capable of operating Mixer Trucks, Low Bed Trailers, or Tipper Trucks to support our extensive operations across the UAE. This role is central to our supply chain, ensuring the timely and secure transport of materials and heavy equipment between project sites and yards.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation & Transport

• Specialized Driving: Safely operate heavy vehicles including Concrete Mixers, Low Bed trailers, or Tipper trucks based on operational requirements.

• Material Delivery: Transport construction materials, heavy machinery, and equipment to various project sites across the UAE, ensuring all loads are secured and delivered on schedule.

• Site Support: Assist in maintenance and construction operations by positioning vehicles and equipment accurately as directed by site supervisors.

Safety & Compliance

• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with UAE federal traffic laws, RTA/SRTA regulations, and internal company safety policies.

• Vehicle Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition (checking brakes, tires, fluids, and lights).

• HSE Commitment: Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols on-site, particularly during loading, unloading, and transit of hazardous or heavy materials.

Documentation & Maintenance

• Log Management: Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery notes, and trip records as required by the logistics department.

• Reporting: Promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the fleet manager or maintenance team to ensure rapid resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience operating Mixer Trucks, Low Bed trailers, or Tipper Trucks within the UAE construction or logistics sector.

• Licensing: Must possess a Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle License (Category 4).

• Technical Knowledge: * Strong familiarity with UAE road networks and industrial areas (specifically Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi).

  • Basic understanding of heavy vehicle mechanics and preventive maintenance.

• Attributes:

  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and a clean driving record.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Availability: Candidates must be available to attend a face-to-face driving and technical test at our facility in Sharjah.
