Pre-Sales Engineer – Enterprise Networking

We are seeking a highly technical and commercially savvy Pre-Sales Engineer to lead the design and technical validation of enterprise-grade networking solutions. In this role, you will act as the primary technical consultant for our sales team and clients, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and redundant network architectures. Whether designing campus-wide WLANs, software-defined data centers, or integrating ELV infrastructures, you will be the technical authority ensuring our solutions are high-performing and multi-vendor compatible.


The Role: Solutions Architecture & Technical Consulting

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will own the technical lifecycle of the sales process, from initial discovery to the final High-Level Design (HLD).

  • Network Design & Architecture: Develop comprehensive High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for enterprise LAN/WAN, campus networks, and data center environments using best practices for scalability and high availability.

  • Technical Sales Support: Accompany the sales team to customer meetings to lead solution discussions, conduct technical presentations, and execute Proof-of-Concept (PoC) demonstrations.

  • Proposal & Bid Management: Prepare detailed technical proposals, intricate network diagrams (using Visio/Lucidchart), and accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs) . You will also lead the technical response for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

  • Multi-Vendor Integration: Design and validate solutions across a diverse technology stack, including Huawei, Aruba (HPE), Cisco, and Juniper .

  • ELV & Infrastructure Integration: Provide specialized networking design support for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) projects, integrating CCTV, Access Control, and Building Management Systems (BMS) with structured cabling.

  • SDN & Optimization: Leverage expertise in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), network segmentation, and performance optimization to deliver modern, agile infrastructures.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with vendor technical teams and internal implementation engineers to ensure that the proposed “To-Be” architecture is validated for successful deployment.


Candidate Profile

We are looking for a certified network professional who thrives in a fast-paced pre-sales environment and possesses a deep understanding of modern routing and switching.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in enterprise networking pre-sales or systems engineering roles.

  • Technical Core:

    • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architectures , routing/switching protocols, and redundancy frameworks.

    • Hands-on experience with WLAN (Wireless LAN) and Data Center networking.

    • Familiarity with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) technologies.

  • Certifications (Preferred): Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) , Huawei (HCIA/HCIP) , Aruba Certified Professional , or Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS) .

  • Tools: Proficiency in network diagramming tools like Visio or Lucidchart .

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional presentation and “storytelling” skills to explain technical value to C-suite stakeholders.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to handle multiple complex bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
