Product Manager – Immunology

Job Overview Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Product Manager (Immunology) to lead the strategic growth of their specialized diagnostic portfolio. In this role, you will support the Sales and Marketing teams by designing and executing comprehensive market strategies aimed at expanding brand presence within the laboratory sector. You will be responsible for introducing cutting-edge technologies, strengthening key stakeholder relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate blends technical laboratory expertise with a sharp commercial mindset to navigate the evolving immunology landscape.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Market Development

  • Portfolio Strategy: Develop and implement high-impact sales and marketing strategies to achieve year-over-year growth for the Immunology product line.

  • Category Innovation: Formulate category targets based on market trends, competitive white spaces, and new product innovations.

  • New Launches: Coordinate with global principals for the seamless introduction of new products, partnership strategies, and operational alignment.

  • Pricing & Negotiation: Develop and negotiate pricing strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability.

Commercial Execution & Account Management

  • Relationship Leadership: Build and maintain robust relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), large laboratory accounts, and institutional decision-makers.

  • Target Identification: Utilize market intelligence to identify high-potential customers and initiate targeted sales activities.

  • Promotional Campaigns: Plan and execute diverse promotional activities, including “pocket meetings,” clinical workshops, and customer engagement programs.

  • Database Management: Maintain a sophisticated customer database categorized by product focus and purchasing potential.

Operational Excellence & Coordination

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Work closely with Tender, Logistics, Regulatory, and After-Sales teams to ensure flawless product delivery and high customer satisfaction.

  • Budgetary Oversight: Prepare and manage marketing expenditure budgets, ensuring all promotional activities remain within approved financial guidelines.

  • Supply Chain Monitoring: Track the status of international shipments, clinical samples, demo units, and localized marketing materials.

  • Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate with regulatory authorities and principals to secure necessary approvals and compliance documentation.

Training & Reporting

  • Education: Organize technical training programs for internal teams and end-users to support long-term product adoption.

  • Performance Analytics: Prepare and present detailed departmental reports, market activity logs, and performance statistics to senior management.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) or Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) qualification.

    • An MSc (completed or in progress) is considered a distinct advantage.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience within the laboratory or healthcare sector, specifically within immunology or diagnostics.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strategic Planning: Proven ability to translate market data into actionable growth plans.

    • Communication: Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills.

    • Independence: Strong drive to work autonomously and consistently hit sales and performance targets.

    • Analytical Rigor: Proficient in analyzing market statistics and managing complex project timelines.
