Role Overview Parsons is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Secretary to join our rapidly expanding team on Fahid Island. This role is a key part of our Emirati Talent initiative, designed for UAE Nationals who are ready to apply their administrative and clerical expertise to high-impact community projects. You will act as a vital support pillar for top-level department managers, ensuring that complex projects stay on schedule through meticulous data management, professional correspondence, and seamless office coordination. Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Reporting

Statistical Gathering: Collect, review, and consolidate statistics and general data into established reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Report Development: Create and revise reports in spreadsheet, graphical, or narrative formats as directed by senior management.

Verification: Validate gathered data, including matching supplier invoices against file records to ensure financial and operational accuracy.

Distribution: Manage the timely distribution of reports to ensure all team members remain informed of project status.
Office Administration & Coordination

Correspondence: Originate professional correspondence and draft reports that do not require the personal attention of the immediate supervisor.

Communication Hub: Manage incoming telephone calls, relay accurate messages, and oversee the sorting and distribution of departmental mail.

Asset Tracking: Establish and maintain records for office equipment, including service logs, and initiate maintenance requests as needed.

Facility Support: Coordinate physical space requirements, initiate requests for IT hardware (PCs/telephones), and ensure the Corporate Directory remains updated.
Financial & Staffing Support

Budgetary Assistance: Obtain basic data for the unit’s overhead budget and prepare recurring financial reports or preliminary reconciliations.

Staffing Metrics: Periodically prepare occupancy or staffing reports for specific projects or the wider unit as directed.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Eligibility: Must be a UAE National.

Education: High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Experience: 2+ years of relevant administrative experience is preferred; however, Fresh Graduates with strong potential are highly encouraged to apply.

Language Proficiency: Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English are mandatory for business correspondence.

Technical Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding and general office practices.

Working knowledge of MS Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and database software).
