Role Overview

As a Senior Azure AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of the generative AI revolution, transforming complex business challenges into intelligent, scalable cloud solutions. You will navigate the entire AI lifecycle—from initial prototyping in Azure AI Studio to deploying production-grade pipelines. This role is designed for a technical specialist who excels at bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical enterprise applications, ensuring that every solution is secure, high-performing, and ethically sound.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Solution Design & Development

End-to-End Engineering: Implementation of comprehensive AI pipelines, including data preparation, model selection, and prompt engineering, specifically within the Azure ecosystem.
Prototyping & Experimentation: Use Azure AI Studio to build and iterate on AI workflows, constantly refining solution quality through rigorous testing and evaluation.
Integration: Seamlessly integrate Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services) into broader digital experience platforms.

2. Collaboration & Lifecycle Management

Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with product owners and stakeholders to define use cases, success metrics, and acceptance criteria for AI-driven features.
Production Oversight: Monitor and troubleshoot live AI solutions, utilizing feedback loops to drive continuous improvement and iterative releases.
Operational Excellence: Document architectures, complex workflows, and operational runbooks to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge transfer.

3. Governance & Quality Assurance

Performance & Scalability: Ensure all cloud deployments meet enterprise-grade expectations for security, compliance, and low-latency performance.
Responsible AI: Implement safety guardrails, privacy controls, and bias mitigation strategies aligned with enterprise governance standards.

Technical & Professional Requirements

Core Azure AI Stack:

Azure OpenAI Service: Large Language Model (LLM) implementation and fine-tuning.
Azure AI Studio: Building, testing, and refining agentic workflows.
Azure Machine Learning: Managing the ML lifecycle and model deployments.
Azure Cognitive Services: Integration of vision, speech, and language APIs.

Engineering Disciplines:

Prompt Engineering: Designing high-quality prompts and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns.
MLOps: Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation for AI workloads.
APIs & Integration: Strong understanding of cloud-native integration patterns.

About You: Skills & Qualifications

Experience: * 2–5 years of hands-on experience delivering software or cloud solutions.
- Proven track record of working with Azure AI hyperscaler services in a production environment.
Technical Mastery: * Ability to translate ambiguous problem statements into implementable AI workflows.
- Strong grasp of evaluation metrics for AI (Quality, Latency, Cost).
- Familiarity with Azure Agentic AI services and deployment patterns.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech, B.E., or a related field (Computer Science, IT, or Engineering).
Core Competencies: * Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- An iterative mindset focused on delivering incremental value.
