Senior Software Engineer | Information Systems Associates (ISA)

Role Overview Information Systems Associates (ISA) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to provide technical expertise across our diverse software development streams. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-quality software products, with a heavy emphasis on DevOps integration, quality automation, and architectural compliance. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that our technology stack remains cutting-edge and aligned with global industry standards. This position is ideal for a developer with a “DevOps-first” mindset who can influence technical decision-making and drive continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Software Delivery & Technology Expertise

  • Product Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of software components, contributing significantly to the evolution of the ISA technology stack.

  • Technical Implementation: Collaborate with product and IT solution managers to translate complex business needs into scalable technical implementations that adhere to ISA’s architectural principles.

  • Automation-First Culture: Drive the implementation of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure the highest standards of software quality and deployment reliability.

Architectural Alignment & Quality Assurance

  • Design Feedback: Participate in the review of architectural designs provided by the product team, offering expert feedback to ensure feasibility and technical excellence.

  • Documentation & Standards: Review technical documentation, user guides, and system specifications to ensure complete compliance with organizational and industry quality standards.

  • UI/UX Governance: Oversee the implementation of User Interfaces, ensuring they align perfectly with functional requirements and provide a seamless end-user experience.

Innovation & Stakeholder Management

  • Emerging Tech: Proactively identify and pilot new trends and technologies that provide competitive value to ISA’s clients and partners.

  • Knowledge Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, fostering a culture of continuous knowledge sharing to empower team members and improve overall engineering maturity.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with project managers, operations, and governance teams to meet agreed-upon service levels and business KPIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: * Minimum 3 years in professional software development.

    • At least 2 years of dedicated experience in a DevOps Engineer capacity.

    • Proven experience designing solutions for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • DevOps Mastery: Deep understanding of the full CI/CD lifecycle, from source code management to automated build, test, and production deployment.

    • Cloud & Infrastructure: Extensive experience working in modern cloud environments and configuring core system architectures.

    • Programming Excellence: Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and mastery of at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).

    • Operations: Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and production operations.
