Role Overview Al Marwan Group, a diversified regional leader since 1978, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Board Producer to join our dedicated production team in the UAE. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end fabrication and assembly of high-quality signage solutions for our various business units, including construction sites, real estate developments, and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in signage materials, printing technologies, and structural assembly to ensure all brand and safety communications are durable and professional.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication & Production

• End-to-End Assembly: Execute the full production cycle of various signage types, including safety signs, project boards, directional signage, and illuminated displays.

• Material Selection: Work with a diverse range of materials such as acrylic, PVC, aluminum, flex, and vinyl, ensuring the right substrate is chosen for durability and environmental conditions.

• Machine Operation: Operate and maintain essential production machinery, including large-format digital printers, plotters, and CNC or laser cutting tools.

Design & Quality Control

• Artwork Preparation: Collaborate with the design team to review and prepare print-ready files, ensuring accurate color matching and scaling for large-format outputs.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet Al Marwan Group’s brand standards and specific project requirements.

• Application & Finishing: Expertly apply vinyl graphics, lamination, and mounting to ensure a bubble-free, professional finish.

Maintenance & Safety

• Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance on production tools and printers to minimize downtime and ensure consistent output quality.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workshop HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, especially when handling chemical solvents or heavy machinery.

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels for inks, substrates, and hardware, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure production continuity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in sign board production or a professional printing environment within the UAE.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating large-format printers (e.g., HP, Roland, Mimaki) and vinyl cutting plotters.

  • Strong knowledge of sign-making techniques, including weeding, masking, and mounting.

  • Experience with basic welding or structural assembly for larger project boards is a plus.

• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or specialized RIP software for printing.

• Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and color accuracy.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple production orders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine errors or material defects.
