Software Engineer | Information Systems Associates (ISA)

Role Overview Information Systems Associates (ISA) is seeking a motivated and technically sharp Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will contribute your expertise across various software streams, assisting in the design, implementation, and quality automation of ISA’s robust product suite. You will work in a collaborative environment, translating business requirements into high-quality technical solutions while adopting industry best practices and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities

Development & Technical Execution

• Product Delivery: Deliver high-quality software components and contribute to the evolution of the ISA technology stack, including design, development, and deployment phases.

• Technical Translation: Work alongside product teams and IT solution managers to turn business needs into technical implementations that align with ISA’s core architectural principles.

• UI/UX Implementation: Ensure that User Interfaces are implemented accurately and function in strict accordance with project requirements.

Quality & Documentation

• Testing & Support: Support the implementation of technical solutions through rigorous testing and review of technical documentation, user guides, and system specifications.

• Architectural Feedback: Assist in reviewing and providing constructive feedback on architectural designs and technical specifications provided by the product team.

• Tool Selection: Support the identification of optimal technical tools and programming languages to meet established technical and quality standards.

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

• Emerging Technologies: Partner with cross-functional teams to explore and adopt new trends and technologies that drive value for ISA clients.

• SLA Compliance: Ensure all agreed service levels are met and provide regular status reports to specialists, users, and management.

• Knowledge Sharing: Proactively share technical knowledge within the organization to empower team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.

• Stakeholder Relations: Maintain effective working relationships with project managers, operations, governance, and enterprise development teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: * 1–2 years of general IT experience, preferably within a development or DevOps environment.

  • Exposure to heterogeneous technology environments and various technology stacks.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Programming: Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and proficiency in at least one major programming language.

  • Cloud & Operations: Relative experience in cloud environments and familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and production operations.

  • Core Engineering: Strong skills in algorithms, core system configuration, and systems testing.

• Core Competencies:

  • Analytical Thinking: Capable of analyzing complex data and identifying potential technical pitfalls.

  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve technical challenges with a methodical approach.

  • Communication: Fluent in English with the interpersonal skills required to execute new initiatives and collaborate across teams.

  • Results-Oriented: Proven ability to deliver against business strategy and meet established KPIs.
