Programme Overview

The Summer Internship Programme at Qatar Airways is a strategic initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and the fast-paced world of global aviation. Over the course of the summer, you will be immersed in a professional environment where you can sharpen your skills, explore diverse career paths, and contribute to the success of an award-winning airline. This is your chance to gain an insider’s perspective on the industry that connects the world.

Mentorship & Growth

Every intern is paired with a dedicated Line Manager who serves as a mentor and professional guide. Your mentor will be responsible for:

Goal Setting: Defining clear, achievable objectives for your internship.
Skill Development: Providing hands-on training in specialized aviation or business domains.
Continuous Feedback: Offering guidance and performance reviews to help you navigate your professional journey.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the 2026 Summer intake, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Nationality: Must be a Qatari National or have a Qatari Mother.
Academic Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, an academic institution within Qatar where the medium of instruction is English.
Credit Requirements: Undergraduate students must have completed at least 60 credit hours.
Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
English Proficiency: A valid IELTS score of 5.5 or above.
Sponsorship: Must be either self-sponsored or sponsored by the Higher Education Institute (HEI).
Selection Process: Successful completion of a formal interview conducted by Qatar Airways.
