Role Overview
Air Arabia is seeking a highly qualified Synthetic Flight Instructor to shape the next generation of aviators. In this pivotal role, you will deliver high-quality simulator-based instruction to cadets and trainees, ensuring all training is conducted in strict accordance with the airline’s operations and training manuals. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between theory and practice, utilizing flight simulation to build technical proficiency, situational awareness, and procedural discipline. This position requires a professional with a deep commitment to safety, mentorship, and the standardized excellence that defines the Air Arabia and Airbus partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Delivery & Cadet Development

Simulated Instruction: Deliver comprehensive cadet training modules using advanced flight simulation technology, ensuring all lessons align with approved manuals and regulatory limits.

Briefing & Analysis: Conduct detailed pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings to reinforce learning objectives and technical understanding.

Progress Monitoring: Actively track cadet performance, providing constructive feedback and recommending remedial or additional training where necessary to ensure high success rates.

Standardization: Ensure that all Airbus and Air Arabia standard operating procedures (SOPs) are accurately implemented and maintained throughout the training lifecycle.
Compliance & Documentation

Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous training records and performance reports, ensuring total confidentiality and data integrity.

Regulatory Adherence: Stay current with evolving aviation regulations, Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles, and human factors research to ensure training remains cutting-edge.

Credential Management: Take personal responsibility for maintaining all valid licenses, certifications, and medical requirements necessary for instructional duties.
Safety & Professionalism

Culture Advocacy: Promote a culture of safety, technical professionalism, and continuous improvement within the training academy.

Collaborative Support: Coordinate with the respective line manager and the wider training team to refine training programs and instructional methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Licensing & Ratings:
-
Must hold (or have held) a valid ATPL, MPL, or CPL.

Must possess a valid Airbus A320 Type Rating.

Experience:
-
A minimum of 1,500 flight hours on Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA).

Must have successfully completed a proficiency check on an A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) within the 12 months preceding the application.

Language Proficiency:

Must hold (or have held) an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.
