Role Summary

As a Technology Consultant in the Innovation Lab, you are a high-level strategist and technical visionary. Operating at the Sr. Manager (L2) level, you drive the development of the “next” in digital transformation. You are responsible for steering critical projects that redefine how Wipro and its clients operate, influencing organizational policy, and managing multidisciplinary teams. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can translate bold ambitions into actionable execution strategies, ensuring Wipro remains at the cutting edge of global technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Innovation & Thought Leadership

Drive Transformation: Develop and implement ground-breaking models, products, and operational plans that align with Wipro’s most critical strategic priorities.
Thought Leadership: Actively shape the industry conversation by participating in high-level innovation activities and contributing original articles or white papers on emerging technologies.
Policy Influence: Leverage your expertise to influence and shape organizational policies and processes, ensuring they support a culture of rapid innovation and efficiency.

2. Program Management & Execution

Execution Strategy: Formulate and lead the execution strategy for complex projects, ensuring they meet the strategic goals of the Innovation Lab and the broader organization.
Operational Autonomy: Manage comprehensive resources and formulate operational strategies with a high degree of independence.
Governance & Compliance: Implement and oversee governance practices to ensure that all innovation pilots meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

3. Leadership & People Development

Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the efforts of specialized team members, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-efficiency work environment.
Mentorship & Coaching: Build a powerful internal talent pool by coaching and mentoring team members, guiding their professional evolution and “reinvention.”
Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate with senior leadership and influence cross-functional teams to ensure innovation projects are integrated into enterprise-wide results.

4. Optimization & Risk Mitigation

System Design: Proactively establish systems and frameworks to mitigate technical risks and enhance the overall customer experience.
Efficiency Gains: Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through the adoption of new technologies and streamlined processes.

About You: Skills & Competencies

Professional Experience: A high degree of experience in technology consulting, emerging tech (AI, Blockchain, Quantum, etc.), or strategic program management.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to link lab-based innovation to high-level organizational and financial goals.
Leadership Prowess: Proven track record of managing program teams and influencing stakeholders at the executive level.
Communication: Adept at translating complex technical implications into clear, strategic narratives for leadership.
