Time Keeper – Construction | Al Marwan Machinery (PMD Division)

Role Overview Al Marwan Machinery is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Time Keeper to join our Plant Management Division (PMD). This role is foundational to our project operations, ensuring that workforce attendance and labor hours are recorded with 100% accuracy. You will be responsible for managing the daily time-tracking lifecycle, utilizing professional ERP systems to maintain up-to-the-minute data that feeds into payroll, project costing, and resource management. The ideal candidate is a focused professional with a background in the construction sector who thrives in high-volume data environments.


Key Responsibilities

Attendance & Time Management

  • Workforce Tracking: Perform comprehensive, daily time and attendance recording for the on-site workforce across various construction projects.

  • Accuracy Oversight: Verify and validate hours worked, ensuring all project-specific shifts, overtime, and attendance nuances are captured correctly.

  • Record Maintenance: Ensure all workforce documentation for the assigned projects is organized, complete, and readily available for audit or management review.

Data Entry & ERP Systems

  • System Integration: Utilize ERP systems for the precise input and management of workforce data, maintaining the integrity of the digital project database.

  • Project Documentation: Execute high-speed, accurate data entry related to specific project timelines, labor allocations, and employee man-hours.

  • Timely Reporting: Assist in the preparation of daily or weekly attendance summaries to support project management and HR functions.

Operational Compliance

  • Procedure Adherence: Follow company policies and site-specific protocols for clock-in/clock-out procedures and labor reporting.

  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and report inconsistencies in attendance records to site supervisors or project managers for immediate correction.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a High School Secondary (HSS) certificate or an equivalent academic qualification.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of direct experience working as a Time Keeper, specifically within the construction or heavy machinery industry.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong working knowledge of ERP data entry and attendance management software.

    • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word) for supplementary reporting.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Uncompromising Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail when recording numbers and attendance data.

    • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle high volumes of workforce data across multiple project lines simultaneously.

    • Communication: Clear interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with site personnel and project leadership.
