Tracking Equipment Coordinator – Al Marwan Group (Machinery Rentals & Sales)
Role Overview Al Marwan Group, a diversified regional leader since 1978, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Tracking Equipment Coordinator for our Machinery Rentals & Sales division. In this critical operational role, you will be responsible for the real-time monitoring and management of our heavy machinery fleet across the GCC. By leveraging advanced GPS tracking systems and asset management software, you will ensure total visibility of company assets, optimize equipment utilization, and safeguard our high-value inventory against unauthorized movement or misuse.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Monitoring & GPS Management

Real-Time Tracking: Monitor and manage the movement and live location of heavy equipment using GPS tracking interfaces to ensure 100% asset visibility.

Usage Reporting: Generate accurate reports on equipment location, engine hours/usage, and availability to support data-driven operational decisions.

Asset Protection: Identify and immediately report any unauthorized movements, prolonged idling, or potential asset misuse to leadership.
Operational Coordination

Resource Alignment: Coordinate with operations teams to ensure that the required equipment is available and positioned according to project timelines.

Logistics Support: Assist in tracking and documenting equipment transfers between various jobsites, storage yards, and regional projects.

Maintenance Integration: Partner with the maintenance department to trigger scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance based on real-time usage data.
Data Integrity & Compliance

Records Management: Maintain a continuously updated database of all machinery within the central asset management system.

Utilization Analytics: Maintain detailed logs and history reports regarding equipment movement, downtime, and overall fleet utilization.

Procedure Adherence: Ensure all tracking and monitoring activities strictly comply with the Group’s asset control and security procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in equipment tracking, asset monitoring, or heavy machinery operations.

Technical Proficiency: * Proven experience with GPS tracking systems and professional asset management software.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in construction, equipment rental, or the heavy machinery industry is highly advantageous.
