Tracking Manager – Heavy Machinery | Al Marwan Group
Role Overview Al Marwan Group, a premier diversified organization in the GCC since 1978, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Tracking Manager for our Machinery Rentals & Sales division. This leadership role is central to our operational efficiency, responsible for the comprehensive oversight of our heavy machinery fleet across all regional projects and yards. You will lead the tracking function, ensuring total asset transparency, optimized deployment, and seamless coordination between trading, inventory, and field operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Asset Oversight

Fleet Supervision: Manage and supervise the end-to-end tracking of all heavy machinery and high-value equipment across the company’s diverse project portfolio and storage yards.

Utilization Optimization: Actively monitor asset utilization data to ensure machinery is deployed efficiently, reducing idle time and maximizing operational ROI.

System Innovation: Implement and continuously improve digital tracking systems and databases to enhance the transparency and accuracy of equipment movement.
Cross-Functional Coordination

Inter-Departmental Liaison: Serve as the primary point of coordination between operations, logistics, and maintenance teams to provide real-time updates on equipment status and location.

Lifecycle Tracking: Work closely with the trading and inventory departments to meticulously track the entire asset lifecycle, including new purchases, internal transfers, and disposals.

Documentation Control: Ensure rigorous documentation for all equipment transfers, rentals, and returns, maintaining a clear audit trail for every asset.
Data Analytics & Reporting

Performance Reporting: Generate and present periodic reports on equipment utilization, maintenance downtime, and overall inventory status to senior management.

Operational Insights: Support leadership with data-driven analysis to inform strategic decisions regarding fleet expansion or relocation.

Policy Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to the Group’s asset management policies and standardized monitoring procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: 4–6 years of proven experience in heavy machinery operations, asset tracking, or high-value equipment management.

Industry Knowledge: Specific experience in the equipment rental or construction sectors is highly preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

Expert knowledge of asset tracking systems and modern inventory control processes.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for complex data reporting and analysis.
