Role Overview Marks & Spencer is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our team in Al Ain as part of our Emirati Talent program. In this essential retail role, you will be the face of the M&S brand, responsible for creating a welcoming shopping environment and delivering the exceptional service our customers expect. You will balance high-energy floor presence with operational precision, managing everything from visual merchandising and stock replenishment to expert product recommendations and seamless point-of-sale transactions. Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales Excellence

Service Advocacy: Engage with customers proactively, providing a high level of personalized assistance to meet their shopping needs.

Knowledgeable Recommendations: Stay updated on the latest M&S product ranges to provide informed advice, focusing on upselling and cross-selling to enhance the customer journey.

Conflict Resolution: Address basic customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating complex issues to the Duty Manager when necessary to ensure a positive outcome.
Visual Standards & Store Operations

Merchandising Integrity: Ensure the sales floor is well-organized and adheres strictly to M&S global visual merchandising standards.

Environment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain the sales floor and display areas to ensure an inviting, premium shopping environment.

Stock Management: Actively participate in receiving new shipments and restocking shelves to ensure full availability of products for our customers.
Transactional Precision

Point of Sale (POS): Operate the cash register and process transactions efficiently while adhering to all company policies regarding payment handling.

Cash Governance: Ensure accurate cash handling and maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout area at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Eligibility: Must be a UAE National.

Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is required, with a proven track record of providing excellent service.

Sales Aptitude: Demonstrated competency in recommending products and a natural ability for upselling and cross-selling.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating cash registers and managing cash transactions with high accuracy.
