Finance Officer (UAE National) | HealthHub by Al-Futtaim | Dubai

Role Overview HealthHub by Al-Futtaim is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Officer to join our Emirati Talent program. Based at our corporate headquarters in Dubai, this role is a cornerstone of our financial operations, ensuring the seamless flow of payables that keep our multi-specialty clinics running. You will manage vendor relationships, strengthen financial controls, and ensure that our “Gold Seal” clinical excellence is matched by back-office operational precision. This is an excellent opportunity for a UAE National to develop specialized expertise in healthcare finance within a globally recognized organization.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Vendor Governance

Invoice Verification: Rigorously verify supplier invoices against approved Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) to ensure accuracy before payment.
Vendor Management: Lead the creation and maintenance of accurate vendor records within the ERP system, serving as the primary point of contact for payment queries.
Discrepancy Resolution: Coordinate proactively with Procurement, Pharmacy, and internal departments to resolve any mismatches in documentation or pricing.
Timely Execution: Manage the booking and submission of invoices to prevent payment delays and maintain healthy supplier relationships.

Financial Controls & Compliance

Reconciliations: Manage corporate credit card and petty cash reconciliations, ensuring all entries are backed by valid documentation and approvals.
VAT Governance: Ensure all financial documentation is VAT-compliant, managing the correction of invoices and credit notes as required by UAE law.
Account Monitoring: Monitor payable balances and GR/IR accounts, following up consistently to ensure timely clearance and accurate financial reporting.
Special Payments: Oversee out-of-run, advance, and urgent payments in close coordination with the central payments team.

Reporting & Analysis

Cash Flow Support: Prepare periodic payable summaries and provide data analysis to support management in effective cash-flow forecasting.
Audit Readiness: Maintain high standards of audit compliance and governance to support HealthHub’s commitment to transparency and excellence.

Work Pattern

Type: Full-time, office-based position.
Schedule: Aligned with corporate finance operations.
Balance: A 5-day work week designed to support a healthy work-life balance.

Who You Are

Eligibility: Must be a UAE National.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. (A Postgraduate qualification or Diploma in Finance is a distinct advantage).
Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a finance or accounts payable role.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong working knowledge of basic accounting principles and AP processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically advanced Excel).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software or enterprise ERP systems.
