Sales Executive | School Management & Digital Education Platform

Role Overview Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to spearhead the strategic growth of their premier School Management and Digital Education platform. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for expanding the platform’s footprint across secondary schools and higher education providers throughout Sri Lanka. You will act as a consultant to educational leaders, promoting innovative digital learning solutions that streamline administration and enhance the student experience. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Market Expansion

  • Growth Strategy: Define and execute a robust sales roadmap to drive platform adoption and hit aggressive business growth targets.

  • Institutional Outreach: Proactively identify and engage with secondary schools, vocational training centers, and higher education institutions to showcase the value of the digital ecosystem.

  • Partnership Development: Identify and secure strategic collaborations and partnerships that support regional business expansion.

  • Public Representation: Represent the organization at major education industry forums, networking events, and digital transformation workshops.

Product Alignment & Stakeholder Management

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal Product and Technology teams to share market feedback and ensure the platform’s evolution meets the specific needs of the Sri Lankan academic sector.

  • Relationship Leadership: Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with school principals, administrators, and key educational stakeholders.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze school engagement metrics and platform performance to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and renewal.

Solution Consulting

  • Digital Transformation: Guide educational institutions through the transition to digital management, providing expert advice on EdTech integration and operational efficiency.

  • Engagement Analysis: Monitor student and administrative outcomes post-implementation to demonstrate the platform’s ROI to institutional boards.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the EdTech, Software as a Service (SaaS), or Institutional Sales sectors.

  • Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Sri Lankan secondary and higher education landscape is highly desirable.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to map out complex institutional sales cycles and identify key decision-makers.

    • Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical academic staff.

    • Result-Oriented: A self-starter with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a target-driven environment.

    • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tracking performance metrics and utilizing data to drive sales strategies.
