Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive – Ampara Branch

Toyota Lanka (Private) Limited , the sole authorized distributor for Toyota and HINO in Sri Lanka and a proud member of the global Toyota Group Japan , is seeking high-performing Sales Executives and Senior Sales Executives to join our Ampara team. As a representative of Sri Lanka’s “Most Loved Automobile Brand,” you will be the driving force behind our growth in the Eastern Province. This role is designed for elite, target-driven professionals who excel in consultative selling, tender management, and high-value relationship building.


The Role: Strategic Sales & Market Leadership

In this capacity, you will manage the full commercial lifecycle—from identifying emerging market opportunities in the Ampara district to the final delivery of world-class vehicles.

  • Revenue & Profitability: Drive the achievement of individual and departmental sales targets while managing pricing and discounts to ensure sustained profitability.

  • Business Development: Build and maintain deep networks with individual, fleet, and corporate customers to expand Toyota’s market share in the region.

  • Institutional Sales: Lead negotiations with government and corporate bodies for bulk orders and provide expert support for high-stakes tender submissions.

  • End-to-End Sales Execution: Own the complete sales process—from proactive lead generation and customer pitches to finalizing vehicle specifications and closing deals.

  • Customer Experience: Enhance the “Toyota Total Quality Experience” through professional vehicle demonstrations, personalized test drives, and expert product consultations.

  • Market Intelligence: Proactively scan the local market for new opportunities and participate in outdoor promotions to showcase the latest Toyota and HINO lineups.

  • Operational Synergy: Support stock forecast analysis and collaborate with banking partners to facilitate vehicle financing and inventory movement.


Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive, organized professional with the commercial sophistication to navigate the unique automotive landscape of the Eastern region.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 2-5 years of proven experience in vehicle sales, corporate sales, or business development.

    • Note: Prior experience in the automotive industry is a strong advantage.

  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of MS Office and comfort working with CRM systems, sales reports, and stock forecasting tools.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Exceptional negotiation , interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

    • A target-driven mindset with sharp business acumen and pricing discipline.

    • Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Willingness to engage in active field sales and outdoor promotions .
