We are seeking a high-caliber Executive – Business Excellence & Digital Transformation to drive operational maturity and sustainable growth across the organization. In this role, you will act as a strategic change agent, blending advanced data analytics with lean methodologies to optimize logistics and business processes. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between traditional operations and digital innovation, ensuring that every process is lean, automated where possible, and consistently delivering high value to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Role: Process Optimization & Change Leadership

As a Business Excellence practitioner, you will manage the intersection of data-driven insights and organizational transformation.

• Business Excellence Maturity: Drive the adoption of global quality principles through research, training, and mentoring. You will assess organizational knowledge and coach individuals on tools and techniques for sustainable improvement.

• Maturity Assessments: Perform standardized Business Excellence assessments, providing the guidance, templates, and consultation necessary to ensure continuous process improvement.

• Data-Driven Strategy: Use analytical methods and operations research to predict, analyze, and improve logistics processes. You will forecast client behavior to trigger management on strategic planning.

• Financial Engineering (ROI): Act as a change management agent by developing ROI business cases and performing cost/benefit trade-off analyzes to justify project implementations.

• Digital Transformation & Automation: Identify and recommend processes for digital conversion. You will assess “To-Be” processes to ensure they are optimized for automation, maintaining strict documentation and governance throughout the lifecycle.

• Solution Formulation: Understand complex customer requirements to formulate bespoke logistic solutions, reviewing existing operations with clients to ensure peak efficiency.

• Realization Tracking: Assess the “projected vs. actual” realization of process automation to ensure tangible value creation and enhanced customer experience.

Requirements

We are looking for an analytical powerhouse with a passion for process re-engineering and a “tech-forward” approach to management.

• Education: BSc Degree with a focus on Management, Statistics, Information Analysis, Operations Research, or Process Re-engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar Business Excellence or Process Improvement role.

• Technical Certifications: Qualifications in Lean / Six Sigma , CIMA , IT , or Automation are highly advantageous.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use statistical tools to analyze and predict business trends and logistic flows.

• Communication: Exceptional presentation and coordination skills, with professional fluency in both English and Sinhala .

• Project Management: Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead teams through complex change management cycles.
