Executive – Maintenance (Water & Wastewater Treatment)

We are seeking a technically-driven Executive – Maintenance to oversee the operational integrity of our advanced water treatment systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless functioning of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) , ensuring they meet rigorous environmental and performance standards. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys a mix of strategic planning, hands-on troubleshooting, and client-facing engagement across diverse industrial sites in Sri Lanka.

The Role: Plant Reliability & Technical Troubleshooting

As a Maintenance Executive, you will ensure maximum uptime and efficiency for critical water infrastructure.

• Operational Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance activities for RO and ETP plants , ensuring they operate at peak capacity.

• Preventive & Electrical Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance cycles and conduct routine electrical inspections to prevent system failures.

• Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, recommending and implementing rapid solutions to minimize plant downtime.

• Data & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of site visits, service logs, and technical reports to ensure full traceability and compliance.

• Commercial Support: Support the sales of spare parts and specialized equipment by identifying client needs during routine inspections.

• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with industrial clients.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a disciplined professional with a strong foundational knowledge of engineering and a willingness to be mobile.

• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or an equivalent technical qualification.

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and operational planning.

  • Added Advantage:Prior exposure to water or wastewater treatment systems.

• Technical Skills:* Basic electrical knowledge (wiring,panels,and motor controls).

  • Understanding of water chemistry or filtration mechanics is beneficial.

• Soft Skills:* Strong teamwork and high-level client management capabilities.

  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining service documentation.

• Mobility:Willingness to travel frequently to various project sites acrossSri Lanka.
