Associate Director / Senior Manager – Transaction Advisory Services (SRT)

We are seeking a high-caliber Associate Director / Senior Manager to lead our Transaction Advisory Services (SRT) practice. This is a strategic leadership role designed for a deal-maker with a sophisticated understanding of capital markets and M&A execution. You will act as a lead advisor to corporates, private equity firms, and institutional investors, navigating complex deal structures from origination through to successful closure. This position requires a visionary leader capable of optimizing balance sheets and securing growth capital in both listed and unlisted markets.


The Role: Deal Origination & Capital Structuring

As a senior leader in the Deals practice, you will drive the firm’s most complex transaction mandates.

  • Capital Raising Leadership: Lead and deliver high-stakes debt and equity capital raising engagements, specializing in growth capital strategies and comprehensive balance sheet restructuring.

  • M&A Execution: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of M&A transactions and investment mandates across a diverse range of high-growth sectors.

  • Strategic Structuring: Originate and structure innovative financing solutions, including Project Finance and specialized structured instruments, tailored to unique client needs.

  • Investor Engagement: Develop and present sophisticated funding proposals to a global network of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Debt Funds, and Institutional Investors.

  • IPO & Growth Strategy: Support clients in achieving IPO readiness, optimizing their capital structures for public markets or private expansion.

  • Due Diligence & Risk: Oversee financial and commercial due diligence processes, providing the rigorous risk assessments necessary for critical transaction decision-making.

  • Relationship Stewardship: Build and maintain an elite network of relationships with state entities, international investors, and leading private corporates.


Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a “deal-first” mindset and a deep track record in the regional and global transaction landscape.

  • Experience: 10–12 years of relevant experience in Transaction Advisory, Deals, M&A, or Private Equity Management.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in lead-managing capital raising rounds and executing complex transaction structures.

  • Market Depth: Strong exposure to both Listed and Unlisted markets, with an in-depth understanding of capital market regulations and investor expectations.

  • Financial Acumen: Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks and the ability to interface effectively with banks and alternative debt providers.

  • Education: Professional qualification in Accounting (CA/ACCA) or Finance (CFA). A postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

    • High-level commercial acumen and a robust local/regional network.

    • Ability to influence C-suite executives and board-level decision-makers.
