Software Engineer – Enterprise System Integrations (HR Transformation)

We are seeking a technically-driven Software Engineer to join our HR Transformation Consulting team, focusing on high-level Enterprise System Integrations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex cloud ecosystems, designing and building seamless data flows between Workday and global ERP, payroll, and finance platforms. This is an opportunity to work within a global consulting environment, leveraging modern cloud technologies to solve sophisticated integration challenges for international clients.

The Role: Integration Architecture & Engineering

As a specialist in system connectivity, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of HR technology transformations.

Design & Development: Build and support robust integrations between Workday and diverse enterprise applications, ensuring scalability and high performance.
Technical Specification: Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical design documents, integration specifications, and implementation plans.
Code Quality: Develop and review integration code, maintaining strict standards for security and data integrity.
Process Optimization: Analyze existing HR workflows to suggest technical improvements that align with modern cloud-based solutions.
Deployment & Support: Lead testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities, including advanced troubleshooting and resolution of integration errors.
Global Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional project teams and international stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.

Your Profile

We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who understands the mechanics of secure system-to-system communication.

Experience: 2+ years in software engineering, system integrations, or a comparable technical role.
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with strong academic credentials.
Technical Stack:
- Proven experience working with SOAP and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.
- Hands-on experience with transformation technologies like XSLT.
Security & Protocols: Familiarity with authentication protocols including SAML and OAuth.
Data Engineering: Exposure to ETL processes, data migration, and complex system transformations.
Key Competencies:
- Strong debugging skills with the ability to analyze integration logs and data issues.
- Exceptional written and verbal English for global team collaboration.
- A proactive, “quick learner” mindset with the ability to take initiative.
- Note: Previous Workday technical experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
