Tax & Corporate Services Associate
We are seeking a high-caliber Tax & Corporate Services Associate to join our specialized Tax practice. This role is designed for ambitious professionals who wish to master the complexities of local and international taxation while navigating the corporate legal landscape. You will act as a critical advisor to clients across diverse industries, ensuring their operations are tax-efficient, compliant, and strategically structured to meet both regulatory requirements and business objectives.
The Role: Tax Advisory & Corporate Governance
In this capacity, you will manage a wide-ranging portfolio of tax compliance, consultancy, and corporate secretarial functions.

Compliance & Filing: Assist clients in the preparation and filing of various tax returns, ensuring 100% accuracy and adherence to statutory deadlines.

Audit & Investigation: Support clients during tax investigations and compliance reviews, providing technical data and liaison support with revenue authorities.

Consultancy & Research: Conduct in-depth research on complex tax and corporate matters to draft formal opinions, tax rulings, and transfer pricing documentation.

Corporate Lifecycles: Facilitate corporate actions including company incorporations, dissolutions, and various registration processes with government agencies.

Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain robust relationships with client personnel and officers within relevant government departments (e.g., IRD, ROC).

Conflict Resolution: Provide effective mediation and problem-solving for tax-related disputes or internal operational challenges.
Requirements
We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to professional excellence and long-term career development in the field of taxation.

Educational Path: Must be a registered student or member of a recognized professional body (CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA) or currently pursuing a University Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Experience: While we welcome fresh talent, prior experience in a Tax environment is considered a significant advantage.

Commitment to Growth: Must be willing to commit to a two-year training program aimed at achieving a recognized accounting designation.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tax-related software and the Microsoft Office suite to prepare high-quality reports and documents.
