The Position: Your Impact
As a Database Engineer within the COSMIC Intelligence (CI) team, you will play a vital role in our reporting ecosystem. CI is a fully customized database that allows healthcare regions to follow up, report, and analyze critical information. You will work within an agile environment alongside experienced developers, architects, and product owners to solve complex data challenges.

Database Design & Optimization: Design, develop, and fine-tune database systems that support mission-critical applications and business processes.

Performance Engineering: Work on both existing and future database solutions to ensure efficient data management and high-performance output.

Agile Collaboration: Participate in a culture of knowledge sharing, working closely with Scrum Masters and Business Analysts to adapt agile processes to evolving development needs.

Problem Solving: Dig into complex databases to identify high-leverage improvements and find creative solutions to intricate data problems.

Proactive Improvement: Take the initiative to identify areas for system optimization and process refinement to enhance overall product quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of professional experience working with SQL and SQL Server or similar database management systems.

Technical Depth: A strong understanding of database design principles, including normalization and indexing.

Best Practices: Solid knowledge of industry-standard database best practices.

Communication: Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
Preferred Assets (Bonus)

Experience with T-SQL.

Background in Business Intelligence (BI) or Data Warehousing.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Previous exposure to the Swedish health and social care sector.
