AI / ML Lead Engineer (Agentic AI & Multimedia)

Role Purpose As the AI/ML Lead Engineer, you will spearhead our most ambitious intelligence projects, specifically focusing on the frontier of Agentic AI and Video/Audio Machine Learning. You will bridge the gap between high-level research and production-grade engineering, leading a cross-functional team of ML and Backend Engineers to build, deploy, and scale autonomous systems. This is a “player-coach” role that demands deep technical mastery of Python and ML frameworks, alongside the strategic vision to define architectures that thrive in cloud, on-premise, and edge environments.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

Architectural Vision: Define the technical direction for end-to-end AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and highly efficient.
Agentic AI Focus: Guide the development of autonomous agents and multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI.
Multimedia Innovation: Lead machine learning initiatives centered on video and audio processing, utilizing signal processing and computer vision techniques.
Cloud & Edge Strategy: Oversee the deployment of models across diverse environments, integrating cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) while optimizing for on-premise and edge device performance.

Engineering Excellence & MLOps

Pipeline Optimization: Implement and oversee MLOps pipelines to support robust CI/CD workflows, ensuring rapid and reliable model deployment.
Code Quality: Actively participate in coding and model development. Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure maintainability, performance, and adherence to security protocols.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize advanced debugging and monitoring tools to optimize ML pipelines and ensure data compliance.

Team Mentorship & Delivery

People Leadership: Mentor a team of ML and Software Engineers, fostering a growth mindset and a culture of continuous innovation.
End-to-End Delivery: Take full ownership of project lifecycles, ensuring high-quality delivery within established deadlines.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Architects to translate business needs into intelligent technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education & Tenure

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: * 5+ years of hands-on experience in software and machine learning development.
- 3+ years in a leadership or mentoring role within ML engineering teams.

Technical Mastery

Core Languages: Advanced proficiency in Python and backend API development.
ML Frameworks: Deep expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Keras.
Agentic AI: Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI, with a strong grasp of AI agent concepts.
Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of ML/DL architectures, signal processing, statistics, probability, and complex data structures.

Infrastructure & Tools

Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
MLOps (Plus): Experience with tools like MLflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.
