Systems Administrator (Level 2/3)
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator (L2/L3) to join our offshore team. This role is dedicated to supporting our Australian customer base, with a dual focus on enterprise-level infrastructure monitoring and the end-to-end management of small to mid-tier client environments.
As a senior technical resource, you will be responsible for maintaining system health, resolving complex escalations, and ensuring the stability of both cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities

System Maintenance: Lead the management and patching of Windows Server and endpoint systems to ensure security and performance.

Infrastructure Monitoring: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-based alerts, utilizing performance metrics to identify and mitigate infrastructure bottlenecks.

Escalation Support: Act as a high-level technical point of contact for customer escalations, providing rapid and effective resolutions for complex issues.

Virtualization & Storage: Administer and optimize virtualized environments and enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS).

Knowledge Leadership: Document configurations, processes, and best practices while providing consistent knowledge transfer and training to internal teams.
Required Skills & Experience

Operating Systems: Solid proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux environments.

Virtualization: Strong administration experience with vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, or OpenStack.

Cloud & Identity: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).

Networking: A firm grasp of network fundamentals, including switches, routers, and SNMP protocols.

Storage: Practical knowledge of enterprise-grade storage systems (SAN/NAS).

Communication: Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications

Enterprise Experience: Background in supporting large-scale, high-availability enterprise environments.

Monitoring & Backup: Direct experience with LogicMonitor and enterprise backup solutions like Commvault.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure or AWS infrastructure.

Automation: Ability to use PowerShell or Python for scripting and task automation.

Frameworks: Understanding of ITIL processes, monitoring best practices, and application dependency mapping.
