Cybersecurity Manager | UAE Operations
Role Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to serve as a cornerstone of the enterprise defense strategy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding critical infrastructure, ensuring alignment with both regional and global security standards, and architecting the next generation of robust, resilient security frameworks. Key Responsibilities
1. Security Architecture & Strategy

Framework Design: Architect and oversee the implementation of comprehensive security frameworks, policies, and controls to protect sensitive enterprise data and digital assets.

Risk Management: Lead end-to-end risk assessments and vulnerability management programs, identifying potential threats before they can be exploited.

Incident Response: Own the incident response lifecycle, from initial detection and containment to deep-dive forensic analysis and remediation.
2. Technical Oversight & Operations

Multi-Cloud Defense: Secure a complex technology environment spanning AWS and Azure cloud platforms, ensuring consistent security posture across hybrid infrastructures.

SOC Integration: Manage and optimize SIEM platforms such as Splunk and QRadar to ensure high-fidelity threat detection and actionable intelligence.

Security Controls: Supervise the deployment and tuning of firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection (EDR/XDR) solutions.

Automation & Intel: Drive security automation initiatives and monitor global threat intelligence feeds to proactively harden systems against emerging attack vectors.
3. Compliance & Cross-Functional Leadership

Audit Readiness: Ensure the organization remains compliant with global security standards and successfully manage all internal and external compliance audits.

Security Advocacy: Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to embed security best practices into the DevOps pipeline and all new technology initiatives.

Strategic Reporting: Provide senior leadership with clear, data-driven insights into the organization’s current security posture and risk profile.
About You: Skills & Competencies

Technical Depth: Expert-level knowledge of network, cloud, and application security, with the ability to “talk shop” with engineers while maintaining a strategic view.

Strategic Leadership: A proven ability to lead teams through complex security migrations and high-pressure incident response scenarios.

Problem Solver: A methodical approach to vulnerability remediation and a relentless focus on minimizing the organization’s attack surface.

Effective Communicator: Ability to translate complex technical risks into business-oriented language for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience

Professional Tenure: Significant experience in cybersecurity, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.

Hands-on Expertise: Deep experience with SIEM (Splunk/QRadar), firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning tools.

Cloud Security: Proven track record in securing AWS or Azure environments.

Certifications: Professional credentials such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

Regional Context: Experience navigating the UAE’s specific regulatory and cybersecurity landscape is an advantage.
